Sima Srl has started its activity of Recovery, Transport and Disposal of special waste, in order to provide companies and public bodies with a complete and qualified service in waste management.

The plant is located in the Municipality of Cornate D'Adda (MB) and is spread over 18,000 square meters including an office building, a warehouse for the storage and processing of special non-hazardous waste and a yard for the collection and treatment of wood. 

In the yard, about 80,000 tons of wood from separate collection are processed and recovered every year. which are then destined for the production of particleboard, thus making the values ​​of the Circular Economy its own, which sees waste as a resource, combining respect for the environment with productivity needs.

For years the company has been a platform of the Rilegno Consortium which protects and promotes the recycling of wood. Special non-hazardous waste, mainly deriving from industrial activities, is selected and recovered through the mechanical selection of waste, thus obtaining the 80% of waste recovered in the paper, wood, iron and plastic supply chains.

Only a small residual part is then destined for landfills or energy recovery plants.
