Sicily Compost was born in 2018 from the need of the Sicula Trasporti spa company to expand and improve its services in the waste sector, respecting the environment and all stakeholders, on whose satisfaction that of the municipalities and of control bodies.

Since waste management is an essential public service, for Sicula Compost srl the creation of value and the pursuit of profit take a back seat to the quality and methods with which it is carried out and which must absolutely comply with what is prescribed by law and from regional planning.

The plant deals with the treatment of organic waste coming from separate waste collection.

Specifically, it receives and processes OFMSW, i.e. the material coming from the separate collection of organic waste, ligneocellulosic materials deriving from public green areas and residual material from agro-industrial processing.

To the use of an innovative plant, equipped with technologically advanced industrial machines and equipment, Sicula Compost guarantees an industrial composting process controlled in every phase: from acceptance, control and reception of waste, to their weighing, shredding, mixing, refining and storage.
