Around the world today, there is a greater focus than ever on the importance of caring for our natural environment and an increasing awareness of the need to recycle and reuse responsibly. 

At the same time though, electronics are being disposed of in increasing numbers and e-waste (also known as WEEE) is one of the fastest growing waste streams in the world.

Responsible and professional WEEE management is vital, but all too often electronics are simply burnt instead. This often happens after being exported to developing countries and creates huge damage to the environment by contaminating soil, water and food. 

This is a global problem, but it is close to home too. The UK is one of the biggest producers of WEEE in the world and more can be done to ensure it is always disposed of responsibly.

Shore Recycling are proud to be helping solve this problem in Scotland. We are specialists in disposing of WEEE responsibly and safely. Our expert team have been doing this from our plant in Perthshire for over 20 years.
