Since the end of the 19th century, the Estébanez Family has been developing a great mining activity in Cantabria and Palencia . This mining activity, which began more than a century ago, has been passed down from father to son until Don Manuel Estébanez G. , who began in the sixties with the exploitation of silica and clay aggregates.at the Quintanilla farm near the Palencia town of Quintanilla de las Torres. During all these years the exploitation of silica aggregates has been the main activity of the company and for which it has the most modern extractive means. Together with these means and the extensive experience of the staff in the mining sector, an environmentally responsible extraction of the aggregate has been carried out. During the extraction, neither explosives nor any chemical product is used, using only mechanical extraction by means of a backhoe or bulldocer. With this method, environmental effects due to noise, dust, etc., are reduced, and this must be added to the use of modern machinery that contributes to significantly reducing gas emissions into the atmosphere.

Throughout all these years, along with the extractive activity, other activities have been developed such as the execution of excavations, earthworks and transport of aggregates and bulk goods.

In 2014 Siete Hermanos Manolo SL began with two new activities, on the one hand with the opening of a modern recycling plant for demolition and construction waste in the Aguilar de Campoo Industrial Park and on the other by offering the container rental service for construction sites. From the process of recycling materials from construction and demolition works, a recycled aggregate is obtained in different granulometries with different applications.
