Wendell Setterberg opened the doors of Setterberg Jewelers in Buffalo, Minnesota in 1951 with his family by his side. In 1956, he hired John Kock as a jeweler and watch maker.
John comes from a generation of jewelers and watch makers. Starting in 1950, he worked with his father, Ed, and brother, Alan, in their family owned jewelry store located in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
