Sersall, headquartered in Castelló d'Empúries, is a group of family businesses with its own social capital, which at the beginning of the 1960s began by providing a domestic garbage collection service.

To be able to offer a good service, it takes years of dedication that have provided experience, and that together with the organization and mechanization, we are able to offer an adequate service at any time that is adapted to the needs of those who require ours. services, both to administrations and waste producers or companies. Currently, the same activity has diversified into different services, and among the sectors that are managed, it is worth highlighting the collection of Solid Urban Waste (MSW), industrial waste, selective and special waste, we are authorized as transporters by the Catalan Agency for Waste with the code number T-964 and as managers with the code E-1254.11. Sersall has built the two municipal landfills in Castelló d ' Empúries, equipped with a suitable installation for the needs that the service requires. This is how we also manage the Navata mini-landfill, among others.

Since November 1999 we have been members of the Envases de Girona UTE, which manages the selection plant located in Celrà. Likewise, since February 2000, we have carried out the selective collection service for containers, paper and cardboard, and since 2010 also the glass fraction of all the municipalities of Alt Empordà attached to the Regional Council. We are responsible for the container transfer plant for the entire Alt Empordà region and we manage the paper and cardboard collected throughout the region. We also shred the wood and do the integral management of any type of waste for any industry or municipality.
