Founded in 1999 by Owner’s Terry and Tracey Moore from their home in Rotherham, it didn’t take long for Select Alloys to make an impact within the Industry. With over 21 years prior experience in the industry before Select Alloys was born, Terry established relationships quickly and provided customers and suppliers alike with a quick turnaround and trustworthy service.

Select Alloys rented its first building of 2,000sqft in Rotherham. By 2002, Terry asked his Brother, Paul to join him to run the warehouse. Soon after recruiting another member to the sales team and increasing its turnover, it became apparent that the company had outgrown the premises

Fast forward to 2005 and Select Alloys went on to rent its second building of 3,500sqft in Doncaster. With on-going support from old and new suppliers and customers globally, 2006 saw the company grow by over 30%, this growth spurt continued throughout 2007.

By the end of 2007, Owner’s Terry and Tracey recognised that to grow even further they would need their own premises, so in early 2008 Select Alloys moved into Unit 3C on Euroway Industrial Estate, which was home to a 20,000sqft unit.

In 2010, Select Alloys purchased one of its competitors, which in turn nearly doubled the workforce to 5 employees! Over the next 3 years, Select Alloys continued to see growth in turnover and in employees, and constantly added new pieces of equipment to the warehouse to remain on top of its game by providing its customers with the best quality product.

Since 2010, Select Alloys and the team have managed to nearly double the company in size, and now employ 20 members of staff. As a company, Select Alloys is globally recognised and deals with many large consumers, including the Doncasters group, the Arconic group and the PCC Airfoils group. Select Alloys works hard to create a respectful, creative and happy workforce who are pushed to excel and given room to grow. This has been a key attribute to the development of Select Alloys in more recent years.
