About Company

The scrap recycling company Steenker was founded in 1969 by Fritz Steenker

Founded in Cleverns and successfully led by him until 1981.

Wife Ute took over the company management in 1982.

Two years later the company headquarters was relocated to Jever, Am Hillernsen Hamm 41.

His son Dennis completed an apprenticeship as a motor vehicle mechanic and joined the successful company in 2002.

Fritz Steenker died in 2008 and a GbR was founded.

Ute and Dennis Steenker have now invested in the company in order to make it more timely and to ensure that the scrap metal is properly returned for recycling.

Today a larger truck with an Atlas crane that can lift 5.5 tons is available for transport and crane services, skip containers in various sizes are made available to customers for scrap collection free of charge.
