We live in exciting times. Reuse of goods is increasingly becoming a 'clean business' and the environment is more than ever on the agenda of government, semi-government and commercial organizations. Organizations and private individuals are increasingly being confronted with the waste that we produce to the left or right. And more and more the question arises as to what we can do with that. Schuman Recycling has been helping many companies with the solution to this growing problem since 1930, and new companies, foundations and associations are added every day.

Schuman recycling may not have originated from 'pure love for the environment', but unconsciously it has always occupied us. At the table, the Schuman family was talking about 'what people don't throw away all anyway' and slowly we start to believe that our company is increasingly becoming a company of the future.

In addition to cleaners, we are slowly becoming more and more 'protectors of posterity' and we are quite proud of that!

A piece of history

After its foundation in 1930, Frans Schuman successfully built his company in the waste paper trade in a turbulent time.

In 1978 son Jan joined the company as a partner after having spent almost his entire childhood there.

In 2004, father Jan and son Jim continued the company together. Jim finally shaped the container rental in 2014; now one of the pillars of the company.
