Schuh - traditional company

After the war - in 1945 - Berthold Schuh earned his living by transporting furniture, which at that time was still traditionally handled by horse and cart. This resulted in the entry into sand transport in 1949. In 1952 the company invested in the first truck in order to be able to serve customers from the Hanover area. In the mid-1950s, the Schuh company took advantage of the boom again and invested in additional machines so that it could also offer its customers earthworks. In 1968 the founder's son, Werner Schuh, joined the company.

Over the decades, the company developed steadily and expanded its range of services: The first hookloader was purchased from 1979 and a skiploader some time later, which now included container services as part of the range of services. At the beginning of the 80s, the company was so well positioned that, thanks to these machines, demolitions could now also be carried out.

In the 1980s, people's environmental awareness changed - recycling began. Landfills were reaching their capacity limits and the question of environmentally conscious disposal and recycling became more and more topical. Environmental awareness developed throughout Germany, and the Schuh company also recognized the signs of the times and invested in a modern crushing plant for the recycling of building materials.

After Werner Schuh completed the range of services in 1985 by transporting construction machinery with low-loaders, the company continued to develop and steadily established itself in the market in this region, so that in 2005 he was able to hand over the solid family business to his son Benjamin Schuh, who is now the third generation to run it just like the two generations before him value modern and high-performance equipment. Today the company offers container services, demolition and earthworks, building material and low loader transports as well as the proper disposal and recycling of building materials. The product range also includes an extensive range of gravel, sand, building materials and bulk materials.
