The company Schröder Schrott und Metalle GmbH & Co. KG, generally known under the name "Schrott-Schröder", has been run by Hans-Heinrich Lütje in the 4th generation since 1984 after the company founder Emil Schröder, the grandfather Heinrich Knebel and father Walter Lütje managed. Since 2019 he has been supported in the management by his daughter Romina Lütje.

Our office is equipped with 9 specialists in the areas of bookkeeping, payroll, management, disposition and marketing and is ready for all future requirements through regular courses and training.

In the meantime, Schröder Schrott und Metalle GmbH & Co. KG has a qualified workforce of over 35 people, all of whom can demonstrate expert knowledge in their field. The security and the guarantee of proper work processes are guaranteed at all times due to the fact that we have been part of the specialist company for decades and have been trained accordingly

History of a successful company:

When Emil Schröder began buying and trading scrap iron, hides and waste paper in 1898 , only a few people realized that these were valuable raw materials. The colloquial name "scrap dealer" was not exactly a respected profession. This opinion has changed fundamentally in the meantime. Nowadays it is recognized worldwide and the company Schröder Schrott und Metalle GmbH & Co. KG has made a name for itself throughout the northern region over the years. This name stands for reliability and quality. In 1984 Hans-Heinrich Lütje built up a second pillar with container service. Burning and dismantling work as well as disposal of various objects are also part of our area of ​​responsibility. Since 1986, the company premises are no longer in the residential area on Potsdamer Straße but in the Speckenbüttel industrial park on Grauwallring. Scheduling, container service, weighing on the calibrated 50-ton scales and goods handling take place on the 15,000 m² company premises . At the beginning of 2006 our second 10,000 m² company site was inaugurated, so that now a total area of ​​over 25,000 m²originated. Only the container service takes place on the second site. For us as a “recycling partner” it is of course part of our service that we also accept small amounts of scrap etc. from private customers. We do not accept or dispose of, for example, waste paper, old cars or electronic scrap! Since the beginning of 2003 we have had the "waste disposal company" certificate with the authorization for professional collection, transport, storage and treatment.

We are very pleased that we have developed a lot, especially over the past few decades, and that we will continue to do so in the future, because this is what the name has stood for for over 100 years
