Winfried Schneider laid the foundation stone for Schneider Recycling GmbH & Co. KG and Schneider Recycling GmbH in 1975 with the disposal of paper and foil as part of a one-man operation.

Even the company founder was marked by a great inventive spirit. So the first vehicle was built according to our own plans in order to meet the individual requirements.

In 1986 the second generation, Thomas Schneider, joined the company.

When the Federal Data Protection Act came into force, a new market emerged: the destruction of data carriers. For this purpose, Winfried Schneider founded DSG-Dokumentvernichtung Schneider GmbH together with other entrepreneurs.

In order to meet the constant quality requirements, the entire operation was certified for the first time as a waste management company by TÜV Rheinland in 1998.

This quality standard is checked annually as part of the repeat audit.

Since the founding site in Siebenbornstrasse soon became too small, a new location was built in the Kreuzwiese industrial park in 2012. On the completely fenced, camera-monitored property, the data carriers are destroyed using the latest technology in accordance with DIN 66399, taking into account the GDPR.

We would like to demonstrate our high customer orientation to the outside world. That is why we decided in 2014 to introduce and certify a quality management system.

In 2015 the extermination facility was expanded to include a further hall. This means that there is also a spatial separation of the material inlets and outlets.

In order to meet the increasing customer demand for hard drive destruction, our operation was expanded to include a hard drive shredder (HSM Powerline HDS 230) in 2016.

Our customers include federal and state authorities, banks, insurance companies, health insurances, doctors as well as lawyers, tax consultants and traders. Our catchment area is within a radius of approx. 100 km.
