SAR Recycle is part of the Enva family
SAR Recycle has been acquired by Enva, one of the UK's leading lead acid battery and Lithium-ion battery recyclers.
Based in Immingham, England, SAR Recycle was a long-established provider of battery collection and recycling services to a wide customer base across the UK and Ireland. As one of the UK’s foremost acid battery recyclers, they recover valuable component materials which are then sold to global smelters and into the plastics recycling industry.
Providing a complete battery recycling service with the latest technology achieves 99.5% lead extraction ready for re-use in the production of batteries and other lead-based products.
Recovery of valuable resources from Lithium-ion batteries such as Cobalt, which is used in the production of new batteries, supports Enva’s vision of a circular economy where recycling is an essential attribute for our environment.
Integrating valuable experience and resource within our specialist waste recovery business, as Enva, we continue to support the automotive, workshop and IT sectors in recycling batteries in tandem with emerging chemistries.
