Consisting of 81 square miles with a population of just under 216,000 residents, the city of San Bernardino, California, is one of the largest cities in the state of California. San Bernardino has many excellent features for its residents, including the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art, the Coussoulis Arena, the San Manual Amphitheater, which is the largest Amphitheater in the United States Fox Theater, and even the McDonald's Museum located on the original site of the very first McDonalds. San Bernardino is located in the San Bernardino Valley, which was initially occupied by the Tongva Indians, who referred to the valley as "the Valley of the cupped hand of God."
These original inhabitants of San Bernardino decided to make the valley their home after seeing what they viewed as a large geological arrowhead-shaped rock formation, and as they followed where this is led, they found both Hot and Cold Springs. One unique feature of San Bernardino is the fact that it has a lot of water; many cities in California do not have this feature, but because of all the underground aquifers, San Bernardino boasts historically high water table portions of any town in California. San Bernardino makes a great place to live or work with its rich history and unique features, including hills and mountains.
