Samuel Steel Pickling Company was formed in 1988 with Samuel Manu-Tech Incorporated as the managing partner, and Gibraltar Industries as the minority partner.  The company began operations in August 1989 at the Cleveland, Ohio location and opened a second pickling line in Twinsburg in July 1995.  Our two locations have the combined capacity to pickle 750,000  tons of steel per year.  In 2010,  Worthington Steel acquired the steel processing assets of Gibraltar Industries, including the minority interest in Samuel Steel Pickling.  Also in 2010, Samuel, Son, & Co., Limited acquired the outstanding shares of Samuel Manu-Tech and became the managing partner.  We specialize in in-line slitting, side trimming, pickle dry, under winding and the application of dry lube coatings during the pickling process.  These value-added services are performed as we pickle your material while at the same time provide a customized inspection with detailed defect reporting.  Our business has been built around servicing our customer.  We continually strive to meet or exceed their expectations.  Samuel Steel Pickling Company is the difference experience makes.
