When we had heard how a place like that 1 800 service for hauling away junk made their start removing junk from peoples homes we decided to take part in the action. We looked into the franchise fees to start a junk removal service out here in Salinas CA but we found it to be a bit on the high side.

Then we sat down and thought, "Hey, why not start our own with our own name? Why not provide the exact same level of service, the same friendly experience, but without having to charge customers the same prices?" 

It sure seemed like it would be simple enough to do and we wouldn't have to pass on the extra cost needed for the franchise fees and national advertising cost. 

So, that is exactly what we did. We went off to purchase a truck. Set up this sweet website and paid a guy some good money to help us be found online and we were in business!

We understood going in that it would be a hard and an uphill battle to get our name and service known here in Salinas, CA. We know how often and how many fly-by-night junk removal services spring up giving some crummy service.  

When we started our business we wanted to make sure that we were going to be in it for the long haul. It's pretty much like anything else in life. You do good and you do things right and good things follow. They don't always go as fast as we want but it will come with time.
