With additive manufacturing, an in-house CNC foam & wood pattern shop and Nopatech®, a pattern-free casting robot, Saguenay Foundry’s expert engineers partner with their customers to produce cost-effective and rapid prototyping with no-bake sand molds. We have also developed an expertise in supplying aftermarket parts for our customers with our short lead time and our nimble production methods.

A policy of uncompromising quality control in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, computer aided design and fluid analysis software systems assure the best gray, ductile and compacted graphite iron castings.

A precursor and leader in ecological stewardship, Saguenay Foundry stopped using Cupola furnaces in the mid-80s in favor of induction systems and replaced more than a decade ago its molding sand binder with a furfurylic alcohol-based furanic resin. In addition to better performance, this new binder allows the foundry to recycle more than 90% of the sand used in the molds.
