Hakan KOÇAK , who started to make his name in the sector since 1989 , founded and developed Sağlam Metal.

In 1997 , we focused on special steels and copper alloys, which are the basic materials of tools, molds and machine parts, and we continue with them.

In 2005 , we started the production of imported copper alloys in Çayırova.

In 2007 , Dörrenberg Edelstahl, a tool steel company established in Germany with a history of nearly 200 years, became a partner by acquiring shares from Sağlam Metal. Our partner, Germany's well-established tool steel manufacturer Dörrenberg Edelstahl, is also among the world's leading stockists in these steels.

In 2015 , we led the industry by launching the sale of cut-to-size tool steel online.

By establishing a second factory in Balıkesir in 2016 , we increased our capacity by opening our second factory in Bronze and Copper alloys, which filled the gap in the domestic market and excited us in exports.

In 2017 , we were entitled to be the 649th R&D center of our country. 

As a company with over 250 employees and all kinds of quality assurance capabilities, we continue to benefit our country at this point.
