Sage Gold Inc is a Canadian exploration and development company with land positions in Timmins and Beardmore in Northern Ontario.The company is focused on becoming a near-term gold producer.

In 2010, Sage optioned the Clavos Mine from St. Andrew Goldfields (TSX-SAS) in the Timmins Gold Camp and formulated a Joint Venture agreement with SAS in Ocotber 2012 after. Sage/SAS JV is a (60%-40%) ownership. Clavos was briefly in production between 2005 and 2007 and SAS invested $46 million in mine and infrastructure development.

A new NI-43-101 Resource estimate was completed by Roscoe Postle Associates for Sage in October 2012 comprising 194,600 ozs of gold at 4.7 g/T in the Indicated category and 120,000 ozs of gold at 4.8 g/T. The company plans to commence initial production in mid 2013 with commercial production in 2014.

The Sage Gold management team and board have extensive experience finding, developing and financing new projects. SGX continues to identify additional properties for acquisition to further enhance shareholder value and create cash flows.
