Rügemer GmbH in facts and figures

1967

Kurt Rügemer founds the company Baggerbetrieb Rügemer in Urberach, his wife Anneliese Rügemer is responsible for the bookkeeping. In the years that followed, a new workshop and vehicle hall were built in Bahnhofstrasse.

1970

Laying of the foundation stone and construction of a new company site at Adam-Opel-Straße 22 in Urberach.

1971

Relocation to the new company premises with a large office, own gas station, workshop and vehicle hall. Acquisition of the first new hydraulic excavator.

1974

Purchase of land for the new topsoil and sand storage area in Messenhäuser Strasse.

1977

Permission (tolerance) from the municipality of Urberach in conjunction with RP and the Usingen Agricultural Office to store and process topsoil and backfill material on the site at Messenhäuser Strasse.

1979

Further expansion of the company by purchasing larger machines.

1984

After completing his apprenticeship as a car mechanic, the eldest son Jürgen joins the company.

1986

The first crawler excavator over 30 t is purchased.

1987

The second son, Thomas, joins the family business after completing his training as a car mechanic.

1992

The youngest son Jörg joins the company and is responsible for costing and accounting. The special civil engineering branch (ramming-pulling-drilling) is added to the product range.

1993

The recycling branch (processing and reuse) of concrete and stones is added to the product range by purchasing a crusher system.

1994

The three sons become full partners and a GmbH is founded.

1997

Receipt of the permit for the recycling plant, sand and topsoil storage area. In the following years, larger machines are purchased.

2007

Construction yard and storage space expansion on the former site of the Stahlbau Herdt company.

2012

Jürgen Rügemer, the oldest son, is leaving Rügemer GmbH.

2018

Relocation to a new office building - Messenhäuser Strasse 42 in Rödermark
