Roman Anglicon. This name has been known in Freiamt and its catchment area for more than 60 years. Originally collectors of bones and rags, the company's founders recognized the value of recycling when it was hardly mentioned. What began primarily with paper was later expanded to include metal.

Roman Anglicon. The name has become a concept. It stands for a high level of competence in collecting and reusing recyclable materials. And therein for a reliable partnership with the public sector and commercial enterprises.

Change of location in 2007

With a new name and new motivation, the tents in Anglikon were demolished in November 2007 and larger ones were rebuilt in Wohlen on Wilstrasse.

Today, 3x larger and now integrated in Wohlen, the range has been enlarged. Now not only metal and paper, but various other materials such as wood, plastics, building rubble, foils, waste incineration materials, etc. are recycled. And with the new "bring's" collection point, private households and small businesses have now also been taken care of.

Further development in 2013

At the end of 2013, a solar system was put into operation on our hall roofs. With this, Römer AG took another sustainable step into the future.

2015

On June 16, we celebrated our 75th company anniversary with an “open house”. We were able to show our company to several thousand visitors. We thank you for the great interest in our company.

2019

In 2018 we started planning our new sorting system. The construction of the hall is almost complete. Our wood processing is now also covered. Of course, these roofs are also equipped with solar systems.
