Russco was founded by Russ and Mary Hampton in 1993. Russ Hampton was employed by a local Kansas City fabrication company and decided that he and Mary would take the plunge and start Russco Custom Fabrications Inc. at their current location in Kansas City.

The company started with only two employees and has grown to over 20 team members. Russco is a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local Number 2 in Kansas City. The advantage to our customers of being a union company is that our union team members are trained in the latest technologies in pattern development, welding, design, HVAC training and are current in all the latest IT developments.

From the very beginning business started to roll in as Russco consistently delivered on time quality projects throughout the Midwest.

Team member work safety is a huge emphasis at Russco. Scheduled safety training with SMACNA for items like fall protection, CPR, chemical handling are all benefits that help us deliver a great working environment for our team members and peace of mind for their families. Our installation crew is OSHA 30 certified. You can feel comfortable knowing that you are doing business with a company that treats their team members with respect and takes the time to train and practice on safety.

Russco also believes in giving back to the local community by supporting several local non-profits. Russ and Mary Hampton feel very fortunate to have built a company that provides for their team members families and is able to support local community efforts.
