The family company Rubenbauer can look back on over 50 years of history. The brothers Peter and Egon Rubenbauer founded the company in 1952 as a transport company with two trucks. Due to the steadily growing order situation, the machine park was soon enlarged and the range of services expanded. The civil engineering services that have been offered since then quickly developed into a hobby of the company.

In 1994 Stefan Rubenbauer, son of Egon Rubenbauer, was appointed managing director. With him, other departments, the demolition and recycling divisions, as well as cable and line technology, took shape.

The first step towards a group of companies took place in 2009. In addition to the “blue” parent company Gebr. Rubenbauer GmbH, which specialized entirely in civil engineering, the “red” Rubenbauer GmbH was founded, which is exclusively responsible for transport services and cable technology.

In 2015 the local company Bohrtechnik HK Staszek GmbH was taken over and became a new, important component of the group of companies. Due to the sustained increase in sales with many existing and new, satisfied customers, the number of employees has now grown to around 70 employees.

The demolition and recycling branch has been independent since 2018 and focuses on complete building demolitions and the recycling of various building materials.

Closely followed by the foundation of our "green" company in 2019, Rubenbauer Garten- und Landschaftsbau GmbH, which deals with all kinds of outdoor facilities and the associated maintenance.
