Since 1999, Rubber Recycling Overpelt (RRO) has been a reliable partner for the effective protection of the environment with regard to waste from used car tires. Annually, approximately 5.5 million car tires are offered to the processing industry in Belgium and approximately 8 million car tires in the Netherlands. RRO processes approximately 10,500 tons of car tires annually, which equates to more than 1.3 million units. 

The main goal was to combat illegal dumping and to find a way to dispose of discarded car tires in an environmentally friendly way. 

In an extremely sensitive area, such as protecting the environment, requires strict compliance with legal regulations. For us, this means that in addition to the ISO 9001 certification, we are also certified collectors and processors according to the Recytyre (Belgium) and RecyBEM (Netherlands) conditions.
