Rua family has been dedicated to the management and recovery of paper and cardboard. Initially, the company consisted of only two people and a handcart. After many years of hard effort and a successful evolution in line with market changes, the company Rua Papel Gestión SL was created , a family business prepared to face new challenges for the future. In addition to paper and cardboard, we expanded the activity to plastic waste, metals, wood and other industrial waste.

Currently, Rua Papel Gestión SL is a company recognized for the high quality of its products and services , with an active presence in different European and Asian countries , where we commercialize a large part of our products from our plants in Sant Andreu de la Barca, Castellbisbal and Barcelona . For this we rely on a management team with extensive experience in all areas of the company, who leads our project with enthusiasm, and on workers strongly committed to the company, some of whom have been contributing their experience to the family for 40 years. years .

We have perfected the processes in our waste recovery plants, one of the most innovative in Spain, where we install state-of-the- art machinery that allows us to increase the capacity for collecting, sorting, crushing and pressing the waste, to convert it into secondary raw material and improve its global management, preventing it from ending its cycle in the landfill, seeking the goal of zero waste . With these means we provide all the specific solutions so that waste does not generate any problem for our customers.

Rua Papel Gestión is authorized by the Catalan Waste Agency of the Generalitat de Catalunya as a waste manager and transporter. We actively participate in different business associations from which we promote the environment and business development such as Repacar (Spanish Association of Paper and Cardboard Recovers), Pimec (Micro, Petita i Mitjana Empresa de Catalunya), Gremi de Recuperació de Catalunya.
