Royal Refuse is a family owned and operated garbage and recycling company founded in 1977 by Dave and Dolores Bales who saw the need for a commercial waste hauler that would respond promptly to each customer's specific needs. Since 1977, along with their two sons Scott and Brian Bales, their business has grown and expanded into what you see today.Our Success is due to tireless commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction. We pride ourselve on consistent pick up schedules, keeping dumpsters & containers respectable, cleaning the area at each pick up site and being readily available for any unique circumstances that may arise.We have grown and expanded our recycling program over the years thanks to our sister company Mckenzie Recycling, Inc. opened in 2004 and now located at 110 N Cleveland in Eugene. Royal Refuse and McKenzie Recycling team up to meet all of the waste management and recycling needs of our customers and our community. McKenzie Recycling averages 1.5 MILLION pounds of cardboard, plastic, tin and clean paper products per year. We are constantly fine-tuning our programs as we grow and learn. By keeping these recovered materials in the marketplace and not buried in a landfill, we not only help our environment, but we also help our local economy.We have 12-15 trucks that operate on a daily basis which are radio dispatched allowing us to respond the same day if any of our customers needs an unscheduled pick-up. For drop box activity, we operate on same day service or no later than next day. For drop box service, we offer dedicated wood, concrete, metal, commingle, dirt, or mixed debris boxes. If the box is mixed debris the load goes to our DEQ permitted MRF (Material Recovery Facility), McKenzie Recycling.Recycling in Eugene and in the Pacific North West requires an expert set of skills and facilities. McKenzie Recycling was founded in 2004 and is now located on 110 N Cleveland off of Rosevelt Blvd. McKenzie Recycling is classified as a MRF (Material Recovery Facility) and specializes in sorting, storage and transportation of recyclable materials.We at Royal Refuse and McKenzie Recycling would like to say thank you to all our customers for their recycling efforts.
