William “Bill” Blazvick, owner/operator, came to Las Vegas in March 1983 as an aircraft welder with the United States Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base. During his 4 years in the military, he took a second job working as a laborer, remodeling barracks on the base. This is where he met a few sheet metal workers, who told him that his skills would do well in the local sheet metal trade in Las Vegas. After discharge in August 1986, he started working for a local sheet metal shop that fabricated stainless steel food service equipment to the local hotel/casino market. After a four year apprenticeship at the Local 88 Training Facility, he worked for several local shops before starting Royal Metal Works in December 1995. At this time, he started with a pick up truck, one 4 ft. hand brake, one 4 ft. shear, one welder and some hand tools. The repair and maintenance business started a journey that led to full installation, fabrication, refrigeration, design and construction for the major foodservice equipment manufacturers and many major hotel casinos not only in Las Vegas, but also in Reno Nevada, Florida, Detroit, Waterloo Iowa, and St . Louis Missouri. Today Royal Metal Works has over 40 employees, a 21,000 sq. ft. facility, 20 service trucks and a professional and skilled staff that is dedicated to make Royal Metal Works the foodservice specialist now and in the future.
