The history of the Rouvreau Group is that of a very well promoted idea

At Vouillé near Niort, at the very end of the 1950s, a man traveled around the area with his moped and his small trailer.

His goal ? Recover any product, object or machine containing metal (ferrous or non-ferrous). With Roland Rouvreau thus begins the saga of a company that has today become a regional benchmark in the collection, transit and grouping of waste.

In 1989, Roland passed his company on to his children, Jacky, Jean-Pierre and Alain. They become the guarantors of the values ​​which now constitute the DNA of the Rouvreau Group: love of a job well done, customer satisfaction, process safety and the cleanliness of treatment sites.

With them, the collection of ordinary industrial waste (wood, cardboard, paper, plastics, etc.) is booming.

In 1996, the company moved to Niort and placed environmental awareness at the heart of its approach with selective sorting and the recovery of all types of waste. It also adds to its know-how the treatment of end-of-life vehicles and industrial deconstruction. The size of the rue Jean Jaurès site, 7 hectares in 1996 (and now 15 hectares), allows the diversification of activities.

Between 1999 and 2011, the number of employees rose from 7 to 36. The relevance of a strategic orientation was thus validated, which in 2012 took on yet another dimension thanks to the creation or takeover of 5 companies.

This is the official birth of the Rouvreau Group, with the key to diversification which now extends to renewable energies and transport.

What a road traveled since 1959!

Today, the Rouvreau Group remains a 100% family business and beyond Jacky, Jean-Pierre and Alain who still lead, there are 5 family members who also work among the 80 employees of the Group.

The activities are grouped around 6 areas:

- Grouping and treatment of industrial waste

- Rental of skips

- Treatment of end-of-life vehicles and sale of used auto parts

- Recovery of iron and metals

- Industrial deconstruction

- Production of photovoltaic electricity
