From humble beginnings Ken Roberts started tarmacing drives with a barrow, shovel, rake and a hand roller in 1940 and built a business where he and his sons provided an excellent service and earnt a reputation for professionalism, honesty and value for money.

His sons continued that service and in 1994 secured a major contract for ten years carrying out cable laying, groundwork and tarmacadam around Yorkshire.

Now, Roberts CGT Contractors Ltd have moved forward not only continuing to provide any resurfacing and reinstatement works to local businesses and residents but now provide an inert waste recycling facility to customers helping to reduce the amount of waste taken to landfill.
