Who are we

“We have been recovering new raw materials from waste since 1981 managing the complete cycle whilst fully respecting the environment. Today we can rightfully claim to be one of the main multi-functional platforms in Europe for treating and recovering special hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The Environmental Integrated Authorisation for 620,000 Tonnes was granted in 2014.”

The origins of RMB are history: a family history that takes us back to the manual sorting of metallic waste carried out on the doorstep and stored in the yard.

Since then the growth path has continued and to date has been unstoppable.

The Company is firmly rooted in the local area in which it operates and works constantly for its improvement. In fact it uses the best technologies available to reduce the environmental impact and contain consumption of energy and water sources used in relation to the quantities of waste treated.

By continually revamping plant facilities, RMB ensures a constant improvement in the quality of its products marketed throughout the world.

History

For over 35 years, RMB has been recovering new raw materials from the entire integrated waste cycle, i.e., from the whole chain of connected activities: collection, transport, treatment, recovery and disposal.

R.M.B. opened for business in 1981 as a conventional scrap metal collector and trader, at the Via della Chiesa plant, in Polpenazze (province of Brescia).

Our Mission

RMB’s “mission” is to continue to improve its waste processing, guaranteeing the recovery of an increasing amount of recyclable materials that will become an alternative source to raw materials extracted in nature, reducing landfill waste, compliant with the European directives for the industry. This can be identified as achieving a circular economy.

To achieve this aim, RMB is involved in continuing technological research and in the design of cutting-edge plants. With a team of skilled technical staff, the company carefully studies the industry standards to apply them to its management. It also performs research and development activities on materials for the main purpose of guaranteeing maximum levels of quality and safeguarding the environment and at the same time, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace.
