River Acceptance, LLC, is a locally owned and operated electronic surplus recycling facility. We provide electronics recycling services to government entities, businesses and other organizations with a dense IT footprint. On an annual basis, we recycle nearly 1 million pounds of electronics, which equates to five train-car loads of trash diverted from Roanoke’s regional landfill.

Randy Frazier, owner and operator, has more than 30 years’ global experience in the proper handling and disposition of all types of electronic devices.

Our business is distinctive in that we never charge a fee for our services. Our revenue comes primarily from the international disposition of IT assets, some of which wind up in the hands of people who otherwise couldn’t afford the equipment. We share that revenue with our clients, who usually donate it to Roanoke Valley and New River Valley nonprofits. In total, we have donated more than $45,000, and our goal is to donate $100,000 annually. From time to time, we partner with area businesses to hold recycling days for consumers.
