With many years of experience working with different materials, building multi million dollar homes, working on commercial construction projects, doing things like electrical, plumbing and HVAC, even spending a few years working as a senior technician on electronic signs, most of these positions which involved engineering expertise, helped me to develop many skills that give me the ability to work with customers with backgrounds in things such as: freight handling, manufacturing, service industries and more.
My dad was a welder for Phoenix Steel, (now CitiSteel) and later a vulcanized fiber manufacturer, as well as my grandfather who worked for many years at Septa in Philadelphia, so working with metal was something I was probably meant to do.I enjoy challenges, as well as helping people with various issues they encounter when it comes to working with metals and have done so for quite some time now. Whether it's Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel or something exotic, TIG, MIG or Stick welding, On site welding, or you bring it to my shop, I'm your guy! For those complicated, hard to handle or difficult projects, I have a mobile rig that comes to you which has turned into my specialty!
I find that in this business I'm becoming less and less of just being your run of the mill 'welder' and I'm becoming more of a problem solver. From tractor trailer hitches, to forklifts, to car haulers with frame cracks, to steel window bars, I'm either making someones job easier, safer, or more secure. Feel free to email me at Rick@RickTheWelder.com with any ideas you may have that you'd like to kick around and we'll see what we can do!
