About Company

RIAM was born in July 2018 from the environmental vocation of two companies that each have many years of experience in the field of metal recovery from waste.

A synergy and a mix of know-how and experience that in a short time allowed us to achieve satisfactory results in terms of the quality of the materials produced and put back on the market as a substitute for "virgin" (or original) raw materials.

Who we are

RIAM is a crushing and enrichment platform particularly devoted to the enhancement of metals, which therefore operates in the trade and transformation of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, authorized by the Lombardy Region with AIA Decree no. 5189 of 22.06.2015 and subsequent amendments for a quantity destined for treatment equal to 110,000 tons.

The plant, located in the Municipality of Bollate (MI) in Via San Nicola n. 43/45, is authorized to carry out the operations of securing, reclamation, demolition and recovery of end-of-life vehicles, as well as other materials with a metallic matrix and / or that can be exploited.

The activity covers a total area of about 12,000 m2, of which about 4,000 are covered and provides, as a priority, the carrying out of the R13, R12, R4 recovery operations (in addition to the disposal operations D15, D13, D14), in line with the hierarchical principles of recovery, as laid down by art. 181, paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree 152/06 and subsequent amendments

History
