The philosophy that prompted a group of friends to found Re.vetro in 1983. Following the principles dictated by the three Rs for Re.vetro has been, since the beginning of the activity, a guideline that, combined with a thrifty administration, has led the company to grow continuously without ever interrupting investments always in search of economies of scale and new synergies.

At the beginning of the 90s, with the growing attention of people towards environmental problems, Re.vetro began to develop other forms of separate waste collection, expanding the range of new services.

In 1995 the center of Genova Campi was opened; an area of ​​about 12,000 square meters in a strategically important industrial area, at the service of any need for the disposal of all recyclable materials: glass, metals, paper, cardboard, plastic, wood, greenery, coming from industrial, commercial, artisanal or of services.

During 2013 the opening of the new platform for the storage and selection of waste located in Via Pian di Rocco 30 in Carasco took place, which allows Re.vetro to expand its range of services offered to customers and start-up of the new plant for the selection and pressing of plastic packaging

In collaboration with the neighboring municipalities, since 2016 the Carasco plant has become an ecological island for the transfer of private citizens of the municipalities of Carasco and San Colombano Certenoli, thus helping to optimize the service of waste collection.
