Residuos Urbanos de Jaén SA (Resurja) was created in 2017 by the Provincial Council of Jaén and Urbaser as an instrument for the comprehensive management of all services related to waste management -collection, treatment and elimination-, a task entrusted to the Provincial Administration by a large part of the jiennenses city councils, grouped in consortiums.
