Who are we

Since 1996, Reno Djurs has been the joint waste company of the municipalities of Norddjur and Syddjur. We strive to be one of Denmark's most efficient waste companies, which delivers high-quality services at low prices, and has great ambitions for both the environment and the working environment.

Reno Djurs consists of a total of approx. 50 employees who are responsible for:

Waste arrangements for all private households, holiday homes and businesses on Djursland 9 recycling stations in Djursland and Anholt

The treatment facility in Glatved, where we accept almost all types of waste

Collection schemes for clinical risk waste

Emptying systems for settling tanks, oil and petrol separators, grease separators and collecting tanks.

In addition to carrying out operational tasks relating to the handling of waste from households and businesses, Reno Djurs undertakes tasks relating to waste planning, business consultancy, dissemination/school services and waste prevention in municipal institutions.

The rest-in-itself principle

As a public utility company, Reno Djurs works according to the principle of rest in itself. This means that the company must neither make a profit nor a loss. The income comes from fees for the services Reno Djurs offers. The fees only cover the actual costs.
