Story

Where there is a will, there's a way

With an iron will and an optimistic attitude, Reinhold Dörfliger started his journey into self-employment in 1971. With this attitude he made the company a leading contact for all aspects of earthmoving and excavation. In 1981 the individual company was converted into a stock corporation.

As a result, the company has grown rapidly and is now one of the leading providers of construction services in north-western Switzerland. The range of services includes demolitions, excavations, rock excavation, brook and river construction, forest and land path construction, environmental design, refuse collection, disposal and remediation of contaminated sites, clearing, dismantling, transport, snow removal and road cleaning.

In order to carry out all these services for valued and demanding customers, the Reinhold Dörfliger Group now has around 160 employees and an extensive fleet of trucks and construction machinery. 

The Dörfliger Group also operates several landfills, e.g. the excavated landfill in the former Born quarry, the reactor waste landfill in Härkingen and the inert substance landfill Weid on the Hauenstein. With Rysor AG, we run a recycling company that is very well known in the region and has a drive-in where businesses and private individuals can easily dispose of their goods.

In the quarries of the Dörfliger Group in Egerkingen, Herbetswil and Gänsbrunnen, high-quality limestone is mined, which is made available as blocks, scraps, marl or splinters for commercial, municipal or private purposes.

With Egex AG, we trade in lifting platforms and construction machinery accessories as well as renting a wide variety of lifting platforms.

Frey Transport AG with its extensive dump service and garage operation (Subaru agency) and Gäustra AG as a construction service provider ideally expand the company's portfolio.

And finally, with Parba Parzellierungs- und Bauland GmbH, we have a real estate company that is completely dedicated to the trade and rental / management of real estate and rounds off the Dörfliger Group's area of ​​activity. The Parba owns industrial and commercial properties as well as residential buildings. 

In order to ensure the long-term survival of Reinhold Dörfliger senior's life's work. To secure the succession of the ownership and management was arranged in 2011. The company received a modern holding structure. The two sons of the company founder, Reinhold G. Dörfliger and François Dörfliger, have been co-owners and board members since then and share responsibility for the group of companies.
