RegioEntsorgung AöR (public law institution) is a municipal company of the regional disposal association.

The disposal association was founded in 2006 through the transfer of tasks from the municipalities of Langerwehe, Linnich, Inden and Würselen. In 2007, the cities of Alsdorf and Herzogenrath were added. After Baesweiler, Roetgen and Simmerath 2008, Niederzier was added at the beginning of 2009. The municipalities of Eschweiler and Stolberg also joined the regional waste disposal association in 2009 in the field of waste paper with the FairPapier © bin. In 2013, the city of Stolberg transferred the collection and transport of all other waste to regional disposal. The city of Nideggen has been a member municipality of RegioEntsorgung since 01/01/2015.

From 01.01.2017, the city of Monschau and the municipality of Vettweiß also belong to the association area. The city of Heimbach joined the regional disposal association on January 1st, 2019.

The municipal enterprise founded by the disposal association RegioEntsorgung as an institution under public law performs the tasks of the disposal association as a whole. In this respect, the municipal company assumes the duties of the special purpose association as a public waste disposal authority and becomes the sole responsible authority.

We are a modern municipal company that works directly for the citizens - with no profit intent.

We collect and transport residual and organic waste, bulky goods and waste paper. We operate four recycling centers in the municipalities of Baesweiler, Herzogenrath, Stolberg and Würselen.
