REGAIN ECO-PLAST - On receipt, each truck passes over the weighbridge in order to obtain a weighing ticket indicating the weight at the entrance and exit. A Waste Tracking Note -BSD- is provided by the customer, holder of the products. A radioactivity detection gantry is installed at the level of the weighbridge.
After dismantling and separation of the various constituents, the plastics are crushed for recovery. The other outgoing fractions are sorted (electronic cards, metals, wires, etc.) and then sold to companies specializing in reprocessing.
At the request of customers, various services of grinding, neutralization, different products can be performed according to specifications defined in the order.
When invoicing, a certificate of destruction is attached to ensure traceability.
We cannot respond to requests from individuals who must file their D.E.E.E. in waste reception centers or in the event of the purchase of a new device, have it taken back by the seller who is obliged to do so, this is the "one-for-one take-back".
What the Law says - Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) are regulated at European level by two directives with three objectives:
- Reduce the toxicity and quantity of WEEE, in particular by limiting the use of hazardous substances,
- Promote the reuse, recycling and recovery of entire devices and their components,
- Empower producers, by taking environmental issues into account from product design, by integrating the cost of treating the product at the end of its life into cost prices, by financing the elimination of WEEE: from collection to recovery .
These 2 directives were transposed in France by the decree of July 20, 2005 and its implementing decrees. Only the measures contained in these texts are applicable to companies.
THE COMPANIES - HISTORY
The starting point, an Emergency Accommodation Center in NEVERS "Nièvre Regain" managed by Daniel ROUMIER. He had the idea of offering a job to residents facing many difficulties. It is from there that our company, founded in 1990, has, from the outset, focused its activity on the recovery and reclamation of plastics. Initially, as a subcontractor responsible for ensuring the destruction of telephone devices, we were contacted directly by France Telecom to guarantee traceability on the destruction, recovery and depollution with, in 1995, the signing of a Quality Assurance Protocol. Over time, the materials recovered have evolved and the company now specializes in the depollution, treatment and recovery of D.E.E.E. From the outset, REGAIN ECO-PLAST has been approved as an Integration Company by the Prefecture of Nièvre, welcoming the Minister of Labor in 1992 to present this new concept of integration; Winner of the Entreprendre prize in 1993 and the first company in Burgundy to be labeled for its social practice in 2003 (Qualirei). Our site is classified I.C.P.E. by prefectural decree since March 29, 2004.
Real know-how: our experience of 25 years, in an activity specializing in the treatment of D.E.E.E. with guarantee of depollution, recovery, made it possible to provide our best services to meet new regulatory requirements and to provide, either by dismantling or by shredding, the appropriate technique (s). Our company has structured its organization and its technology towards a careful separation of the components and a sampling of the hazardous elements, to prepare the different stages of recovery for specific industries. This organization makes it possible to guarantee depollution, to optimize recovery and more specifically that of plastics.
In 2009, GROUPE REGAIN, sister company of REGAIN ECO-PLAST, located on the same site, structured its development mainly towards the depollution and treatment of cathode ray tubes with the DEPOLL-TUBES ® process, today referenced in the study. of ADEME. With its experience, GROUPE REGAIN has been able to offer its services to other screen dismantling companies and covers an important geographical area.
The co-existence of the companies on the same site gives REGAIN ECO-PLAST the benefit of close processing. In April 2013, Daniel ROUMIER handed over his companies to the LFP Group, specializing in maritime pollution control, integrating the recovery division: Astrhul, Le Floch Dépollution, Econerphile, Aretzia, Solairgies and QSE Expertise.
