Start of container trading in the canton of Schaffhausen

Triggered by the need for waste glass containers in the communities of Schaffhauserland, URS SIGRIST AG delivered the first containers in the early 1980s. Sales professional Marcel Ochsner built up the actual dump business with a lot of passion.

Takeover of URS SIGRIST AG

 In 2006 URS SIGRIST AG became a subsidiary of REMONDIS Schweiz AG, which in turn took over the debt service. We continued the dump trade. Sales was expanded in 2010 by one person, Sebastian Sieber. After Marcel Ochsner's retirement in 2012, Tobias Gartmann added to the sale. In the years that followed, we expanded our range to include various additional products such as small containers, covers, waste bins and vehicle security accessories. This enabled us to offer everything from a single source.

Merger of URS SIGRIST AG & Recytech AG

With retroactive effect from January 1, 2019 and in connection with the takeover of K. Müller AG by REMONDIS Schweiz AG, the operational business of URS SIGRIST AG and Recytech AG came together. Thus, our team expanded by two new employees. As specialists in the trade of compaction machines, they continue to sell stationary press containers, screw compactors, weighing systems and oscillating piston presses. Thanks to the cooperation with Beringer and Werner and Weber, we offer high quality products in this area.

We currently have three sales representatives. On the one hand, there is Michael Hürzeler, who can look back on many years of experience in the recycling industry. Luigi Giovanardi is also at home in the industry and has been with the REMONDIS Group for several years. The team is complemented by Ogi Lakic, who has a technical education. The team is led by Raphael Simonelli.

The employees from the in-house workshop are also there for you on a daily basis and carry out professional service work.

Today we use the name RECYTECH as a brand for our product range and continue to operate under URS SIGRIST AG.
