AT THE BEGINNING

In the early 1950s, at 98 rang St-Guillaume in St-Léon de Standon, a blacksmith and tinsmith shop opened very close to the residence of Mr. Doria St-Hilaire. Some paid in silver, others with scrap metal, which unwittingly opened the door to a new vocation. This is how he specialized in sorting and recycling metals. At the time, foundries and recycling facilities were not as common as they are today, but it was with an innovative and visionary sense that Mr. Doria St-Hilaire gave birth to his company.

SUCCESSION

It was in 1985 that his son Christian took over the family torch. It was with an iron fist, unparalleled customer service and dedication to his business that he grew the business at lightning speed. Over time, the company acquired a truck scale, various equipment such as a tractor, an iron bale press, wheel loaders (loaders), 12-wheel "roll-off" trucks as well than fifty containers made available to customers. In addition, the company has doubled the surface area of ​​the buildings to better meet the growing need of the market.

In recent years, Olivier, the grandson of the founder, has shown interest in the company. His leadership and taste for challenge make this young entrepreneur the ideal person to take over. Supported by his father Christian, he made new investments with the purchase of a handling shovel, a hydraulic shear (also mounted on a shovel), an aluminum press as well as a platform for towing, always with the aim of better serving customers.
