Formed in 1987, Recycling Advocates (RA) is Oregon's only citizen-based, grassroots group dedicated to creating a sustainable future through local efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle.  The organization is run by an elected Board of Directors comprised of solid waste professionals, policy activists, local business people and dedicated volunteers who have an interest in promoting recycling and waste reduction.
