We are Mission Driven to Leave as Little Environmental Impact as Possible

RWS has dedicated our efforts to reduce the carbon footprint in our area by recycling 80-90% of waste from our transfer and recycling facility. We have an excellent track record with a variety of entities to reuse glass, concrete and other construction debris, and we are looking forward to continuing this success by providing the great service you expect.

RWS began in 2009 when a need for environmentally responsible disposal was identified.  Recycle Waste Services continues to work with recycling partners that allow us to maximize diversion of recyclable materials away from the landfill. We continue to explore various options with our partners at Natural Resources Management and Rocky Ridge Development to find the most environmentally friendly and cost-effective way to dispose of materials, to create a better community for everyone. 

We employ skilled people, along with providing the best equipment, to safely streamline the movement of waste from jobsite or transfer station to our trailers or roll-off boxes. We have a proactive maintenance approach for all our industrial equipment, which is regularly inspected and maintained by our maintenance service technicians.

The RWS management team and its partners have over 80 years of combined experience in the recycling, waste management and transportation/logistics industries. Jeffrey Stansley, former President of RWS and owner of Recycle Services, is an active leader in NW Ohio/SE Michigan. Prior to passing the torch to the next generation, Jeffrey developed RWS into one of the area’s leading recycling firms. Now at the helm, Ryan Stansley and Scott Stansley Jr. head up the firm, successfully managing day to day operations. Scott educated himself at both Waste Management (WM) and Green For Life (GFL) for 6 years as an Operations Improvement Specialist prior to rejoining RWS. Ryan expanded his finance experience while working in the automotive industry for one of the “Big 3” and now focuses his efforts on the back-office side of the business. Rounding out our team is our Fleet Manager, Michael McPeek, and our Maintenance Manager, Scott O’Neil.

In addition to our immediate team, Chip Tokar, Principal at Natural Resources Management, has been an integral partner of RWS aiding in the areas of environmental permitting and health and safety. RWS plans to continue harvesting this relationship with NRM for the foreseeable future as they have proven to be a valuable asset.
