Located near Barcelona, ​​the company Recuperaciones Masnou has more than 50 years of experience in the recovery and recycling sector. Run by the Masnou brothers, Recumas is the result of the constant historical evolution of a first business undertaken by Mr. Àngel Masnou Vila, their father.

With an exceptional human team, trained and experienced, our company offers those who need it, a wide variety of services and products to satisfy their needs, always with a professional, cordial and personalized treatment.

More than 41,000 m² between the facilities of Sant Celoni and Sant Feliu de Buixalleu, and a fleet of 32 trucks, allow us to work with large volumes and cover a good part of the regional territory, while allowing us to open the doors to national and international companies.

Story

Recuperaciones Masnou was born as a continuation of the activity that Mr. Àngel Masnou i Vila undertook in 1963, after working for 22 years in a chemical products factory in Sant Celoni.

Little by little, buying and selling some materials; From paper and scrap metal to rabbit skins, the start of a family business was consolidated. Very soon his daughter and son-in-law joined, and later and progressively, his two young sons who whenever they could were by his side helping them and accompanying them everywhere.

Over the years, the company grew with the efforts of all together, but unfortunately in 1980 and at the age of 54, Mr. Àngel Masnou, founder of the business, passed away.

From that moment on, the activity became the property of the brothers Salvador and Àngel Masnou and their brother-in-law Ramón Busquets, who together made the business grow until 1995, when the volume of it led them to create the company Recuperaciones Masnou. SL (Recumas).

Since then, the company has undergone constant development, becoming the business it is today, and consolidating itself as one of the most important companies in the recovery sector in Catalonia.

OUR PROCESS

RECUMAS's main objective is the recovery and maximum recovery of all the waste it manages. This process is carried out by classifying and conditioning the materials for subsequent recycling; In this way, we give a second life to a large part of the waste that people generate, both at a private and industrial level.

Our company tries to exercise all its processes in the most sustainable way to contribute to the sustainable development of its activity, and reduce its impact on the environment and society.
