Surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city and the constant flow of goods, we saw how simple cardboard boxes were used and thrown away again and again. This observation got us thinking. If we could give a second life to all these boxes, wouldn't we be able to both help the environment and provide an economic benefit to people and businesses? From this idea Reboxt was born.

How we do this? Our approach at Reboxt is simple and effective, based on the principles of sustainability and circularity.

Collection: We have set up a network of collection points throughout Rotterdam. These include supermarkets, local stores and other businesses that regularly use and discard cardboard boxes. They are our Collectors and play a vital role in our process. By not throwing the boxes away, but giving them to us, they actively contribute to our green mission.

Sorting and Storage: The collected boxes are sorted by size, shape and quality in our local distribution center. This allows us to ensure that every box we redistribute meets our quality standards.

Reuse: The sorted boxes are offered on our website to both individuals and companies. For example, this could be people who are moving or companies that regularly ship products. We call this group of people our Reusers. They not only opt for a cost-effective solution, but also contribute to our sustainable mission.

Community actions: In addition to the daily activities, we organize weekly clean-ups in various neighborhoods of Rotterdam. With our electric cargo bike, financed by generous donations from our community, we travel through the city to collect litter. This not only strengthens our bond with the community, but also contributes to a cleaner and greener city.
