We have four decades in machine design and construction, with specializations in Production Machinery, Automation and Robotic Work Cells.

Projects range in scope from small modifications and upgrades to existing equipment, to complete, clean-slate, designs of self feeding production machines like the fully automatic abrasive cut off saw shown above. We have built Robotic work cells that take parts across five different machines to go from raw blank, to finished product, with multiple fully automated quality checks along the way!

Fabrication

We know every project doesn't mean a whole new machine, so RCD also offers Sheet Metal and Fabrication services too. But we can do more than just build to your prints, we can also help you with the design stage too! Send us your sketches or even just a description of what you need and we will work with you to design the most robust, economical, and effective solution. And, yeah, then we'll build it too.

With facilities to Shear, Plasma Cut, Bend, Punch, Shape, Roll, Bead, and Weld in house, we can complete your sheet metal parts before some shops can get back to you with a quote.

We also stock a selection of Angles, Beams, Pipes, Rectangles and Squares, so your fabrication projects can be turned around fast too.

Prototyping and Machining

We have a full machine shop ready to make the parts you need... quickly, accurately and competitively. Of course not everyone is an engineer, but that doesn't mean you don't know what you need... we'll help you get your design down on paper - and down in cost. With our full 3D design capabilities, we can ensure you're intentions are fulfilled, and your new design is optimized for manufacturability. We can then make your prototypes, and once you decide to go into production, we'll help you get that done too.

We complement our fabrication department with Milling, Sawing, Radial Drilling, Turning and Grinding.
