Our professional team is comprised of experienced NDT specialists, reliability engineers, structural integrity and materials specialists, and NDT tools and software development engineers backed by a team of talented and dedicated client support personnel.
Quest Integrity Group is focused on asset integrity and reliability management solutions for our clients. Our solutions are comprised of technology-enabled advanced inspection and engineering assessment services and products that help companies in the refining and chemical, pipeline, syngas and power industries reduce operational and safety risks, improve operational planning and increase profitability.
Our advanced inspection capabilities ensure data quality, coverage and repeatability, while our engineering assessment capabilities generate actionable, timely information by utilizing 100% of the higher quality data and providing a seamless path for escalation to higher level assessments. Our industry specialization and related asset operating knowledge enables us to apply our technologies on a field practical level, index observations against extensive global experience and deliver information in a balanced, effective form from the operator’s perspective.
Quest Integrity Group and our predecessor and affiliated entities have a long history in resolving asset integrity and reliability management challenges in a variety of industries. In fact, our history and the field level learning we leverage every day on behalf of our clients extends back several decades. These challenges arise because these industries and our clients commonly operate in very severe conditions with material implications upon equipment failure. Our evolution – including NDT innovations in data accuracy, coverage and presentation, miniaturization and form factors, and field-level ruggedness and navigation flexibility – reflects a client-driven response to these demands.
In January 2007, we created Quest Integrity Group to consolidate the core disciplines of advanced inspection and engineering assessment residing in wholly-owned subsidiaries Quest TruTec and Quest Reliability, respectively.
In 2009, Quest Integrity further consolidated Quest TruTec and Quest Reliability as divisions under Quest Integrity Group. This final consolidation stage reflected the importance we place on seamless integration between advanced inspection and engineering assessment. Simply stated, confidence in data collection quality and understanding drives confidence and accuracy in engineering assessments.
QI2 remains today an important strategic partner to Quest Integrity. QI2 leverages nearly 40 years of advanced measurement expertise in providing contractual R&D support on a project specific basis and fulfilling an on-going technology incubation role in developing NDT technologies for other high performance and reliability-demanding industries such as aviation/aerospace. Quest Integrity selectively refines and applies this newer technology when we see the opportunity to improve service and resolve problems for our energy sector clients. This strategic relationship enhances Quest Integrity’s ability to think outside conventional functionality and to cross fertilize ideas with the most progressive NDT technologies and applications outside the energy sector.
Much of the core technology underlying Quest Integrity’s NDT platforms has started in this way. A good example is the measurement tool originally developed for the United States Navy to inspect the internal surfaces of its ships’ boiler tubes. In the 1980’s, QI2 developed the LOTIS® (Laser Optic Tube Inspection System) which allowed the Navy to identify and quantify anomalies such as corrosion, erosion and pitting on the interior of shipboard boiler tubes. Other technologies, such as FTIS™ and InVista™, have evolved through many development generations by building upon this collective expertise and industry exposure, coupled with our understanding of our energy sector clients’ most critical asset integrity challenges.
