In 2014 Dougie Watt realised a gap existed within the quarry and recycling sectors for a maintenance and repair service which exceeded the industry norm. Having invested heavily in purchasing material processing equipment, companies working in these industries often suffer from extended periods of ‘downtime’ when machines cannot operate. Sometimes due to insufficient preventative maintenance and often because of inaccurate diagnostics, downtime can have massive financial consequences for equipment owners.

Dougie had a vision of ‘a simpler solution’ where his customers could have a scheduled maintenance program, with regular site visits by an experienced engineer to perform regular service tasks and carry out machine assessments. Preventative maintenance could be pre-arranged so that parts and engineers could be on site for a scheduled time thus reducing downtime.

When broken down, your time and money is wasted due to mis-diagnosis. Being able to find the fault quickly, order the correct part immediately and fit it properly means machine downtime is significantly reduced.
