In 2003, the company began to operate independently and develop in the field of waste management. Mandatory public service of waste management has been implemented in eight municipalities since the beginning: Velenje, Šoštanj, Šmartno ob Paki, Nazarje, Gornji Grad, Ljubno, Luče and Solčava. The service is provided for around 53,000 citizens of Šaleška and Zgornja Savinjska dolina.
In addition, there is a well-developed market activity for the removal of waste and secondary raw materials for both industrial and service activities throughout Slovenia.
