PTFE Industries was formed in 1988 in New Britain, Connecticut with a focus on the manufacturing of skived PTFE sheets, tapes and films for distributors, gasket houses and the OEM markets.

In 2005, PTFE Industries was acquired by a private investor and subsequently relocated to Houston, Texas. Product offerings have expanded over the years and now include custom plastic machining, molding of basic shapes, custom skiving of PTFE tapes and films, stock sheets, extruded PTFE rods and gaskets. These products service numerous industries including aviation, industrial, medical, oilfield and semi-conductor.

Through hard work and with new visionaries at the helm, PTFE Industries afforded the opportunity to move into a new state of the art facility in the last quarter of 2012. This new facility offers over 50,000 sq feet with much needed room for expansion and new equipment.

Dedicated to quality and continuous improvements, PTFE Industries achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2013. This certification ensures customers get consistent, superior quality products and services.
